ABOUT THE ORIGIN AND GROWERS
This is a blend of coffee from the Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia and the Sulawesi islands of Indonesia.
Ethiopian coffee is full of juicy cherry and chocolate notes, with a silky, buttery body. Grown in the Gedeo region of Southern Ethiopia, the coffee is produced using organic methods by the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU).
Small holders farmers from the Toraja region in Sulawesi grow coffee trees on small plots around the villagers houses, their families come together to pick, hand-sort, dry and process the coffee. Coffee from the Toraja region is known for it’s intense, thick syrupy body.
