ABOUT THE ORIGIN AND GROWERS

Colombia Planadas is a single origin coffee grown in the Planadas, Tolima region, one of the largest coffee producing regions in Colombia. The coffee is produced by members of the ASOPEP Cooperative comprised of 175 coffee producing families who contribute their coffee cherries for processing and packing collectively at the mill onsite. The coffee is grown in volcanic ash and clay loam soils, using organic methods.

The cooperative has a strong focus on organic and sustainable practices which are at the forefront of the cooperatives mission.
