New 'Flowers in Action' Coffee Special Release
We are delighted to partner with female coffee producer 'Leda Silva' from the 'Flowers in Action' project in Brazil for our latest special release. Though there is no direct family connection with the Silva name, we think it's the perfect match to launch our new coffee bags and celebrate real coffee connections.
Did you know Silva means 'forest, woodland, tall trees'? Our name literally describes the backdrop of our hometown in Warburton.
Stunning tones of Baileys Irish Cream stand out in this coffee in milk while Star Anise shines through as a black coffee. Bold & beautiful in the cup.
Grown in the Mantiqueira region, located in the highest part of South Minas Gerais, in a hilly region known for its smallholder producers. Coffees from this area feature outstanding citrus, floral, and fruity notes, with a creamy body, intense citric acidity, and a prolonged finish. Sitio 3 Pines is the coffee farm managed by Leda Aparecida Fernandes Santos Silva, a third-generation coffee farmer. The 4.5-hectare farm specializes in Red Catuai with anaerobic fermentation. Leda is a member of the Flowers in Action project, dedicated to sustainable and high-quality coffee produced and managed by women.
