ABOUT THE ORIGIN AND GROWERS
This 'limited release' organic coffee is grown in the rich volcanic soils of the San Marcos Region in Western Honduras.Finca Liquidambar spans 56 hectares with of 14ha of natural forest and 40ha of coffee production.
Carefully, only the ripest fruits are picked before being dried on raised beds for 25 to 35 days. Once dried to the peak moisture content, the coffee is transported toBeneficio Santa Rosa to prepare for export.
Finca Liquidambar takes proactive steps to be environmentally responsible, making organic fertiliser onsite, and treating any wastewater before releasing it back into the environment. The farm employs 18 permanent and 12 seasonal workers who are provided with housing, meals and healthcare.
